  1) The Renin-Angiоtensin-Aldоsterоne System (RAAS) is а complex system of hormones, proteins, enzymes, аnd reаctions that help regulate and blood volume in the body. 2) The process starts with the   releasing an enzyme called renin, which breaks down angiotensinogen released from the liver.  3) The lungs convert angiotensin I to angiotensin II using the enzyme , which causes and helps maintain vascular tone. 4) The in turn triggers aldosterone release from the adrenal glands, leading to increased reabsorption. Since water solutes, the body holds more water to maintain the blood pressure!! 5) Additionally, the posterior pituitary gland releases to aid in water reabsorption via the kidneys again, and make you thirsty to drink water!!
