Pleаse vоte fоr 2 students belоw to be the Co-Chаirs of DECO (Deltа Early Childhood Organization). You will need to type in their names. My name is Jasmine Evans, and I am running for Co-Chair for Deco Club. I am from West Monroe, la. I am twenty-eight years old and a mom to the world’s sweetest little girl. Ever since I had my daughter on May 24th of 2024, my world has changed and becoming a mom is the best thing I could have ever happened to me. I believe I’m the right person for this position because I’m passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s growth, learning, and well-being—and I want to help make this club a place where we can all learn, share, and make an impact together. As Co-Chair, my goal will be to make sure our club is not just about meetings, but about meaningful experiences. I want to help organize engaging events, bring in valuable resources, and create opportunities for all of us to connect what we are learning in the classroom to the real world. Leadership is about teamwork. I am committed to listening to your ideas, supporting your goals, and working side by side with you to make this club stronger. With your vote, I will do my best to ensure our Deco Club is not only productive, but also inspiring, welcoming, and fun. So, when it is time to choose a Co-Chair, I hope you will vote for me—because together we can make this club something truly special. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello, my name is Queen Mason, and I would like to be a co-chair for multiple reasons. I grew up in Bastrop, La and moved to Monroe, La my seventh-grade year of junior high school. I am a graduate of Ouachita High School class of 2022 and the proud big sister of a current La Tech student who also graduated from Ouachita High School. The reasons I feel like I would be a good co-chair is because I am amazing with children. Children are my passion whenever a child is around everything is quiet and I only focus on the child that is in my presence. While a child is in your care that is the main focus. Understanding a child is the best thing any adult can do and also being patient with them will make everything easy because they are babies and toddlers, they don't understand right from wrong like adults do so being patient with a child/children is a big yes with me. I take time out with each child to understand and what they want. I feel like I will be a great light for children and bring a positive energy that children will need. Thank you for reading a little about me. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My name is Ronesha Bradley, and I am very interested in serving as a co-chair for DECO. I am 25 years old, and beyond my work in early childhood, I enjoy cooking and caring for my nieces and nephews, which has deepened my love for nurturing children. I am in this field to help break generational curses, to build strong foundations, and to ensure that my own children and the children I serve grow up feeling loved, supported, and capable of becoming their very best. I have a strong passion for leadership and believe that true leadership begins with supporting children at the earliest stages of life. By starting with the babies, we can help build a solid foundation that will shape their growth and success for years to come. I would love the opportunity to use my leadership skills to support children, families, and educators while working alongside others who share the same dedication. I look forward to the chance to contribute and serve with DECO. Thank you for your time and consideration.
