Ever since I had my daughter on May 24th of 2024, my world has changed and becoming a mom is the best thing I could have ever happened to me. I believe I’m the right person for this position because I’m passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s growth, learning, and well-being—and I want to help make this club a place where we can all learn, share, and make an impact together. I grew up in Bastrop, La and moved to Monroe, La my seventh-grade year of junior high school. I am a graduate of Ouachita High School class of 2022 and the proud big sister of a current La Tech student who also graduated from Ouachita High School. The reasons I feel like I would be a good co-chair is because I am amazing with children. Children are my passion whenever a child is around everything is quiet and I only focus on the child that is in my presence. While a child is in your care that is the main focus. Understanding a child is the best thing any adult can do and also being patient with them will make everything easy because they are babies and toddlers, they don't understand right from wrong like adults do so being patient with a child/children is a big yes with me. I take time out with each child to understand and what they want. I feel like I will be a great light for children and bring a positive energy that children will need. I am 25 years old, and beyond my work in early childhood, I enjoy cooking and caring for my nieces and nephews, which has deepened my love for nurturing children. I am in this field to help break generational curses, to build strong foundations, and to ensure that my own children and the children I serve grow up feeling loved, supported, and capable of becoming their very best. I have a strong passion for leadership and believe that true leadership begins with supporting children at the earliest stages of life. By starting with the babies, we can help build a solid foundation that will shape their growth and success for years to come.
