Making coffee, in general, is something many people do, often in the morning, though not exclusively. First, you should probably get some coffee—ground is typical, but whole beans are also a thing, assuming you have the equipment and/or patience. Put the coffee somewhere it can be brewed, like a machine or a press, or even just a cup in some cases (there are a lot of methods, too many to list here). Then, hot water should be added (boiling? very hot? lukewarm? It depends). Let it sit, or brew, or drip—timing varies. After a while, pour it into something drinkable. Add stuff if desired. Try not to spill.
