The three (3) Officiаls оf the Flоridа Office оf Finаncial Regulation (OFR) and Susan Stock, former Director of Enforcement for the CFPB, who joined our class last Monday, July 20, 2026, were very impressed with your knowledge and class participation during their Zoom presentation. Assume that due to your enthusiasm and active participation during last week's class, Mr. Anthony Cammarata, OFR's General Counsel (GC), wishes to interview you for a full-time position because the OFR is investigating many consumer compliance complaints at a recently merged Florida bank that has existed for less than four (4) years. Messrs. Anthony Camarata, GC, and Gerald Perez, Assistant General Counsel; Charis Pineda, Legal Clerk; and other federal officials, including certain CFPB personnel, are coordinating the examination. They are considering hiring you to help them with this extensive investigation, which may result in state and federal indictments. During the follow-up interview with you, these OFR officials want to ascertain that you have the basic required knowledge to participate in this investigation, since they have no time to train you. However, they are confident that the knowledge you acquired during the Juris Master's program, specifically in this Consumer Finance course, will be of value to the OFR to complete the investigation in less than the budgeted time. These State officials would like to know how you plan to conduct the investigation and examination and to cover the following topics discussed in class to determine whether the bank is NOT in compliance and has violated both state and federal consumer laws and regulations. In writing, explain what you have learned to date and convince the State Officials to hire you. In answering this question, mention some of the topics covered by state officials during their class presentations. Please write for at least 90 minutes, producing an answer of approximately 1,800 words while monitoring your clock to ensure you do not exceed the allotted time. Save frequently and leave blank spaces between paragraphs. Each paragraph should not exceed five (5) lines. Do not be concerned with spelling or grammar. Use the phrase “I learned” only once. Do not spend more than 13 minutes on any one of the seven (7) topics selected. You should feel very confident since you have been preparing for this day during the summer C 2026 term.
