He was prepped and draped in the supine position, foreskin retracted, prepucial adhesions broken down. Circumcision was then performed using a dorsal slit technique. Hemostasis was achieved with judicious use of electrocautery and chromic ties. Prepuce was re-anastomosed to the penile skin using 5-0 chromic catgut. Vaseline gauze dressing was applied.
