Plаcement оf Webcаm During Exаm The webcam shоuld be placed abоut four feet to the left or to the right of your computer so that it clearly captures your workspace during the entire exam. Each of the following items must be visible at all times during the exam: your hands your face (a profile is okay) and upper body computer screen and all of its contents keyboard and mouse/trackpad scratch paper and notes You may need to elevate your webcam using a tripod, stack of books, glass jar, etc. to make sure your entire workspace can be seen. Use your computer’s camera software to ensure your camera is positioned properly. Failure to position your webcam to capture your workspace during an entire exam may result in a loss of points on the exam, having to schedule future exams with an in-person proctor, and other possible disciplinary actions.
