Operаtive Repоrt PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Recurrent multinоdulаr gоiter аfter prior subtotal thyroidectomy POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Same PROCEDURE: Completion thyroidectomy DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURE: A 47-year-old female patient with recurrent multinodular goiter and residual thyroid tissue following a prior subtotal thyroidectomy was brought to the OR for completion thyroidectomy. After induction of general anesthesia, the patient was positioned with neck extension, and the previous cervical incision was reopened. Dense scar tissue was carefully dissected to identify and preserve the laryngeal nerves and parathyroid glands. All remaining thyroid tissue was excised and sent for pathological examination.
