This course requires weekly engagement with readings and assignments.  In order to take this class you should be prepared to do work on a regular weekly schedule.  It will take time that you should make sure you have now and for the balance of the semester.  You must be prepared to read instructions carefully.  In an online environment the instructions you are given are written.  They are the key to your success. It is not possible to do well in this course without basic skills in reading and writing.  An online class requires you to communicate clearly via a variety of assignments.  If you have trouble communicating because you have poor English skills or do not have the ability to structure sentences grammatically this will cause you to struggle.   Finally, you must complete the unit 1 assignment by the deadline.  If you do not complete that work by the deadline you will be withdrawn from this course.
