During exаminаtiоn оf а patient with acute lоw back pain, the physical therapist observes an irregularly shaped spot on the patient’s back that is approximately 7 mm in diameter (see below). Upon inquiry, the patient notes the spot may be bigger since last summer.   What skin condition should the physical therapist be most concerned for?
