Cоllаbоrаtive AI Pоlicy for BIO 2101 – Humаn Anatomy and Physiology 1, Fall 2026 Objective: This policy outlines how generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grammarly, Dall-E) can be used responsibly and effectively in our Human Anatomy and Physiology course to enhance learning while maintaining academic integrity and fostering skill development. Ethical Guidelines for AI Use Students must use gen AI tools ethically and in alignment with the values of academic honesty. All work submitted must reflect individual understanding, even when gen AI tools are used. Plagiarism or submitting AI-generated content as your own is strictly prohibited. Appropriate Uses of AI in this Course Generative AI tools are generally permitted in this course for the following purposes: Study Aids: To generate practice questions, content summaries, flashcards, or explanations of complex topics. Research Preparation: To brainstorm ideas, locate credible sources, or organize information. Writing Support: To improve grammar, spelling, or clarity in assignments (provided the core content of text is your own). Consequences for Policy Violations Minor violations will typically result in a warning and a chance to resubmit the assignment. Serious or repeated violations may lead to academic penalties, following the college’s code of conduct and the Academic Integrity policy for this course.
