Jeаn Piаget оperаted frоm cоre concepts and highlighted what he considered significant milestones in each stage of his development model. One of the core concepts JP established that is still used today is the development of schemas. According to Piaget, ____________ is adapting our current schemas to incorporate information provided by new experiences; while ___________ is interpreting new experiences in terms of our existing schemas. Hint: The Vine video of the little girl saying, “Look at all those chickens!” that we watched in class was a cute representation of the above process. We walked through how that particular Vine was a perfect example of Piaget’s concept of schemas. I told y’all this would be on the exam and that looking at the root words might help you remember the difference between these two concepts specifically. Focusing on root words helps on many occasions.
