Then you will confirm a series of statements about your materials, your conduct, and how your grade is finalized. Part 1: Position your side-angle camera Your side-angle camera must capture all four of the following in a single frame: Your head and shoulders Open space behind your head Your hands, keyboard, and full desk surface, including scratch paper if your exam permits it (check your exam instructions before you begin) Your entire monitor screen Place your camera to one side of you, resting on your desk or a nearby surface. Move it back far enough to fit all four items in frame, usually about an arm's length, and angle your monitor slightly toward it so your screen is visible. Open the Honorlock webcam view and match your setup to the photo below before you continue. If you have a phone or tablet that you are not using as your side-angle camera, place it in view of your camera and out of arm’s reach. Part 2: Confirm each statement The statements below cover your camera view, your audio, permitted materials, your conduct during the exam, and how your grade is finalized. Check each box only after you have confirmed it is true. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a zero on the exam.
