Abel and the company’s employees used state of the art techniques to avoid dangerous releases of these chemicals. Their safety processes were the best possible using today’s technologies. Even so, one day some of the chemicals were released into the environment. They caused an explosion that damaged neighboring properties, including Vanessa’s property. Vanessa sued Abel.
