Hi, аnd welcоme tо yоur midterm!  As а reminder, here's how this exаm works. Before the exam, you should have printed off the Midterm Template and may also want pencils and plenty of blank scratch paper handy in case you need to work out problems by hand. It is encouraged to do as much as possible in Excel. Below is a blank Excel spreadsheet that you can download and then open and use on the exam. You must download the Excel spreadsheet to use it- click on the three dots to the far right of the spreadsheet attachment to download. Blank Excel Spreadsheet.xlsx It's open book, open notes, so you are welcome to have all your materials at hand as well. Write your answers on the Midterm Template during the proctored exam. Each problem goes on its own page. For example, the first problem will go on the sheet labeled “M 001.” If you need more space, just insert a blank sheet of paper in there and label it. For example, if you need more space for M 001, you would insert a piece of paper between M 001 and M 002, and label it something like “M 001 continued.” It’s OK if what is now called “page 2” becomes the third page of your document. When the exam is over, if completing problems by hand, stop writing on the template. If working problems in Excel, stop any work in Excel as well and save your files. Immediately after the exam, scan any handwritten work into a file. Upload your Excel file(s) and any handwritten work to Blackboard under the "Upload your Scan Here".  This has been separated from the timed portion so you don't have to use any of the two hours to upload your work. Make sure to upload it as soon as possible after the exam, because I will be checking the timestamps. Keep the hard copy of your answers until you receive your exam score back. If you have read and understood these instructions, click "True" below.
