A reticulin stain was obtained. There is no evidence of a significant increase in reticulin in the marrow stroma. The marrow smears show an adequate number of spicules. The complete maturation of myeloid cells is confirmed. Hemoglobinization of erythroid cells is slightly deficient. There is no evidence of an excessive number of blasts.
