During the mоnth оf June, the fоllowing trаnsаctions occurred:  June 1 - Issued (sold) common shаres to shareholders in exchange for $250,000 cash. June 8 - Purchased inventory for $16,000, paying $5,000 cash with the remainder "on account". June 15 - Sold inventory to customers for $18,200.  Customers paid $2,000 cash at the time of the sale with the remainder to be collected within 30 days.  June 15 - The cost of the inventory sold to customers in transaction #3 was $14,000. June 19 - Paid suppliers $10,000 towards what was owed on previous credit purchases. June 23 - Collected $3,500 cash from credit customers. June 28 - Paid $500 for July rent (as the company leases its operating space). (Note:  Lease means to "rent"). June 30 - Dividends of $1,000 were declared (and paid) to common shareholders.
