We wаtched а videо where the оbjective wаs tо count the number of jumps made by a specific Double-Dutch team. During the middle of the video, an individual wearing a large chicken suit walks across the screen, flaps its wings, and squawks. On average, about 50% of study participants miss this chicken entirely while focused on counting jumps. About 74% of our class (if I remember correctly, it was higher than the average for sure) missed the chicken completely. All but 2-3 students missed the background changing color multiple times, and everyone missed the people swinging the ropes rotating, and swapping out with each other. What does this study represent? Hint: We also watched a version of the original video from the original study that included counting basketball passes, and a moonwalking bear came dancing through. Whaaaaaat?! *Minion voice*
