Salt Lake Community College will cost him $ 3989 per year, and University of Utah will cost him $8,615 per year.  He plans to live at home with his parents, and will commute using Trax and will have a pass to use as a student of both schools so he will not need to pay for parking.  He currently works as a manager at Starbucks and makes a salary of $37,370.  To attend the university he will need to cut back his hours to 30 hours per week which will reduce his salary to $28,031.  He will earn on average $41,000 as a Preschool Teacher, and does not plan on working at both Starbucks and as a preschool teacher.
