The Assignment: Yоu cаn either use Gооgle or one of the five newspаpers in the librаry's database, "U.S. Major Dailies" (The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post), to start your search. You will need to report the level of bias and reliability of your story using the Ad Fontes Media Bias chart (instructions on this below). Find a news story related to the challenges of climate change; it can deal with specific disasters related to climate change, laws dealing with climate change, issues surrounding migration and climate change (climate migration), etc. The news story cannot be an opinion piece (no op-eds, editorials, or letters to the editor); it cannot be more than a year old; and it must bring something new to the table (some of its information needs to be facts that did not appear in our videos or readings).
