I understаnd the fоllоwing:  PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE STATEMENT: Fаilure tо proctor the test correctly will result in deduction of following points (includes Violаtion of Before and During Exam , Workspace Photo/Scan and Environment): 1st offense - 15 points 2nd offense - 30 points and 3rd offense- 50 on exam and report to Dean for academic misconduct BEFORE THE EXAM The online testing environment should mimic an in-class testing environment. Students must: Take the exam at a desk or table — not on a bed or couch. Have adequate lighting so they are clearly visible on camera. Remove all notes, textbooks, eBooks, phones, tablets, Bluetooth devices, and course materials. Remove private or inappropriate items from the camera's view. Be appropriately dressed. Remove smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, Bluetooth and AI devices/applications and hats. Be alone in the testing environment. Ensure no writing or course materials are visible on the desk or walls. Remain fully visible on camera throughout the examination. Face forward during the exam. No looking to the side.  Close all other programs and windows before beginning. Turn off music and televisions. Remove food, drinks, and chewing gum from the testing area. Use only one monitor. Have the laptop charged or plugged in. Have a stable internet connection. Scratch paper, notes, and course materials are not permitted. WORKSPACE & ROOM SCAN If are not permitted to skip the workspace photo, you will need special testing approval from the Department Chair if you are unable to take a photo of your workspace. Can reach Department Chair at cainm@sccsc.edu.  Before beginning the exam, students must complete the required scan of the testing environment. The scan should clearly show: The entire desk/workspace The student's lap The surrounding testing area The wall in front of the student, if the desk faces a wall The purpose of the scan is to demonstrate that the testing area complies with the AHS Online Honorlock Testing Policy. DURING THE EXAM Students are being recorded. The instructor can review video and audio from the examination. Students may not: Leave the scanned testing area Talk to themselves or another person Consistently look away from the screen Switch tabs or access unauthorized websites Use another electronic device Use notes, cheat sheets, scratch paper, or course materials Students must remain fully visible and facing forward throughout the examination. If a student gets up and leaves the testing area during the exam, the exam may be graded based on the last question answered before the student left the testing area.
