HоnоrLоck Guidelines: Pull up а tаb for the "Lаdy of Shalott" poem from this week. Keep that tab at the top of your screen for easy access. The links that I have provided within the module are the only sites allowed to be open. This assignment must be written in one session. I have set a time of 3 hours just in case you need a lot of extra time. Most students submit within 30 minutes. No cell phone usage allowed. No background noise, including music, TV, talking. This is because a transcript is being recorded; talking and lyrics make it seem as if you are cheating. No copying and pasting. Prompt: Time to call on those creative juices, you guys! After reading the poem "The Lady of Shalott," in 2 stanzas of poetry, write an alternate ending. You are welcome to start your alternate ending anywhere you choose within the poem. Some like to begin before certain events happen, and others like to start right before the poem ends. Wherever you choose to start in terms of the sequence of events is fine! Your 2 stanzas will need to reflect the rhyming pattern of the "The Lady of Shalott" poem. This is where your critical thinking must come in. You must study the rhyming pattern, which is not that difficult. You will notice that there are 9 lines in each stanza that take on the rhyming pattern with the last words of each line, like this: AAAABCCCB. If you are confused by this, email me. If you are deeply confused, you will need to visit the STAR tutoring center. Type your stanzas directly into the submission box, not an attachment. Do not use AI or any outside help to create the poem.
