This is the PHS-107 Midterm Exаm. It cоnsists оf 75 multiple chоice questions tаken from Chаpters 1 through 14 in the text. Chose the best answer for each question.There is a 120 minute time limit. Once started, the exam can not be paused or restarted - it must be completed in one session.Student actions and behaviors are being monitored by the Honorlock platform and will be reviewed by a professional proctor and by your instructor. Actions and behaviors that will be flagged as violations during an exam are listed below.Lighting in the test area must be bright enough to show your face and surrounding area in a clear, detailed manner.You should be seated at a desk or table. Laying down in bed or elsewhere when taking the exam is not allowed. Your face, chin to forehead, must always remain within view of the camera and clearly focused.You should clear your desk or table of all materials (e.g. books, papers, notebooks, calculators, etc.).No visible writing on the desk or walls is permitted.All third-party programs and windows (websites, Excel, Word, etc.) on the testing computer must be closed before logging into the proctored test environment. You can use one screen or monitor attached to one computer.Not showing an ID, showing an improper ID, or showing a blurry ID will be a violation of the rules.Loud music, television, or other distractions playing in the background are prohibited.No other people are permitted near the testing environment, and you may not communicate with another person.You must not leave the room during the testing period at any time or take the computer to another room without permission from the Honorlock online proctor. No breaks will be permitted.Hats, hoodies, headsets, or earplugs are prohibited. Cell phone use is prohibited. You may not wear a smart watch.Talking or whispering aloud is not permitted. Do not look anywhere except on the screen.Taking pictures while in your exam, including screenshots, is not permitted. Honorlock will capture all attempts of copy and paste that occur. Do not right-click anywhere on the exam.Honorlock will not add additional time for proctoring questions or technical issues encountered during the exam. If any of the above behaviors are flagged during the exam, the instructor will set aside the exam score and a grade of zero will be recorded for the exam.
