Ensure yоu hаve а stаble Internet cоnnectiоn when starting the exam. If an issue arises during the test and the browser must shut down, Respondus will prompt you to type a reason for exiting before you are finished with the exam. You must remedy the situation as soon as possible, as your timer will continue to run. (Example for a 60 minute exam: If the problem occurs 20 minutes into the exam and it takes you 10 minutes to fix it when you log back in, you will only have 30 minutes to complete the exam, not the 40 minutes that were available when the problem occurred.)
