Yоu аre cаlled tо the scene fоr а seizure. Upon your arrival you find a patient who is lying on the floor and is awake, with an altered mentation. The bystanders state the patient was “shaking all over”. The patient is incontinent of urine and has positive oral trauma. There is no other history nor evidence of trauma. As you assess your patient, the patient becomes fully alert and oriented. You have a brief conversation with the patient and the patient mumbles she does NOT want to be transported, with the husband's consent. After the patient signs your paperwork and as you are climbing back into your ambulance, the patient’s husband comes running out and states the patient is seizing again.
