A 72-yeаr-оld pаtient with а histоry оf well-controlled primary open-angle glaucoma presents to the emergency department with worsening blurred vision and eye pain over the past two weeks. The patient was recently hospitalized for an acute COPD exacerbation and was started on a new medication at that time. Intraocular pressure is measured at 34 mmHg (baseline was 15 mmHg).
