HUM 2210 COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES After cоmpleting HUM 2210, students will be аble tо: аnаlyze wоrks of art, literature, religion, philosophy, and other cultural artifacts in their historical context. distinguish the factors and forces that shaped Greek, Roman, and Medieval culture. evaluate the historical significance of the Greek, Roman and Medieval culture. evaluate diverse cultural achievements. Write two paragraphs, five to seven sentences each, in which you demonstrate that you have achieved these course learning outcomes. You should choose two outcomes from the list above and write one paragraph on each. Be specific. Write about specific works, historical events, ideas, and so on that you have mastered, and be sure to indicate how these relate to the course learning outcome you are writing about. GRADING Your assignment will be graded holistically (that is, there is no rubric I will follow). You will receive a minimum of thirty points per paragraph, for a minimum grade of 60, as long as you write two full paragraphs. Beyond this minimum, your assignment grade, up to a possible 100 points, will be determined by how thorough and specific you are in addressing the prompt.
