In fact, Darwin himself posed the question ‘How do we explain something as complex as an eye or as ornate as the peacocks feather?’ What is meant by the concept of irreducible complexity and how would you with your new found knowledge of evolutionary biology challenge this idea and describe how selection might lead to these complicated structures.
