Clinicаl Pоlicy Develоpment (Pаrt 1) Scenаriо: You are an Athletic Trainer for a mid-major Division I University (examples – Virginia Commonwealth University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Towson University, Columbia University, Western Michigan University). The Director of Sports Medicine has asked the Athletic Training staff to review the current policies and procedures for the program and identify areas of improvement so the sports health team can better serve the student-athletes at the institution. The staff members identified gaps associated with a few aspects of student-athlete safety, health, and wellness. The educational materials should communicate (e.g., concise, clear, unambiguous) the needed information as a standalone reference sheet.
