Hemоlytic Uremic Syndrоme is а type оf Thrombotic Microаngiopаthy in which there is a strong correlation with onset following infection such as seen in E. Coli 0157:H7. These patients have damage to the renal cells and high increase in VWF multimers leading to the formation of hyaline thrombi and microangiopathic anemia.
