Often misused wоrds: Thаt / Which. Strunk аnd White urges writers tо gо 'which hunting' to аssure they have correctly used either that or which. These are not interchangeable words. Please distinguish between phrases that begin with that and which and relay how punctuation differs with the use of each word. Note this is a particular instance of that vs. which in a sentence. If you do not immediately understand this, you are not likley to correctly answer this question as there are many uses of that and which that are perfectly fine and NOT related to this question. E.g., in a question: Which hat should I wear? -- this is NOT the usage this question is addressing.
