Imagine that you’ve decided to be a playwright, and you want to write something inspired by a significant event in your life. This event could be happy, sad, funny, or heartfelt. Write a short synopsis of what the play would be about (one or two paragraphs) and consider what the setting would be, what kind of costumes would be needed, etc. Then, write a 1–2 page excerpt of a scene from your play. Your scene should have a least 2 characters, but can contain a monologue or an aside as defined in the Powerpoint notes for this module. You have 2 hours to complete this project.
