As yоu may know, the floats in these parades are quite unique & often represent humorous and/or satirical themes that are multilayered and context-specific. One of my favorite floats was in a parade with an entertainment theme and had the caption: ”TROUX DETECTIVE – Season Cautiously” and there was a depiction of a giant sack of flour in the front. I heard the local commentators try to explain, but clearly, not many of those responding in the chat got the various embedded jokes. I think I did. From your readings, what is one(1) concept that you think E.T. Hall might apply to this situation (either to the understanding, the non- understanding, the explanations, or the___? ?__) Can you decipher any one(1) of the InGroup humor /satire / references being expressed in this float?
