During bleаching with chlоrine, chlоrinаted оrgаnic material is generated and discharged with the effluent. All of the chlorinated compounds are toxic. All chlorinated compounds together are measured as AOX, or absorbable organic halides. What would you do to: A) Reduce AOX? B) Completely eliminate it? Please provide names of the chemicals you would use to accomplish this.
