Electricаl Technоlоgy Shоp Sаfety Rules I will never turn on or аttempt to work on any live circuits. Safety glasses must be worn at all times while completing assigned projects. Work areas must be cleaned and reorganized before the end of class each day. I will never eat or drink at any computer workstation. I will not operate any machine or power tools without prior permission from the Instructor. I will report any broken tools or equipment immediately to the Instructor. I will report any injury no matter how small immediately to the Instructor. I will never leave conduit or scraps lying on the floor. I will use all hand tools properly and for their correct job. I will never operate or use any tool or device that has not been explained to by the Instructor. I will never purposely MIS-USE OR BREAK ANY TOOLS OR EQUIPMENT. I will always have my workstations locked and tagged out before I begin working on them. I will never work in any station that is not locked and tagged out I understand that long pants, closed toe shoes or work boots are required at all times in the ELT shop. I understand that short pants can never be worn in the ELT shop. I understand that I must remove all jewelry and loose clothing before working in the ELT labs. I understand that I must adhere to the ELT dress code for the entire semester even during final exams. I have been informed and understand the following rules are mandatory and must be adhered to at all times.
