Close all other programs and/or windows on the testing computer prior to logging into the proctored test environment.  No websites other than Canvas and the Honorlock proctoring extension should be used or open while taking a proctored exam. You must remain visible in the web camera during the entire duration of the exam. The blocking of the web camera during the test will result in failing the test. You must not leave the room during the testing period at any time. You must not take the computer into another room to finish testing (exam must be completed in the same room the “Exam Environment View” is completed in). No other persons except the test-taker should be in the room during testing.  If someone walks into the room, be sure to be clear and tell them, “I am testing.”  Then, resume testing. No use of headsets, ear plugs (or similar audio devices) are permitted. Smart watches are not permitted. Dual monitors are not permitted.  Using a phone or any other electronic device, other than your test-taking device, is not permitted. The only exception is to contact support or your instructor in the event of a technical issue. Communication or receiving assistance from others is not permitted during a proctored assessment. No paper, no scrap paper, no notes, no books, no cellphone - nothing on your desk.
